MATERIALS: Charles Craft Pre-finished Baby Bib Balloon Buttons 1 skein DMC Six-strand Embroidery Floss (Art. 117) in Gold #783 DMC Cebelia #30 in Yellow #745 #12 Steel Crochet Hook 6" of 1/4" wide Satin Ribbon
INSTRUCTIONS: A. Sew buttons on bib following photo or where desired. With Embroidery Floss, back stitch "balloon string". B. Edge: Row 1: Right Side: Attach cotton in bib w/sl st. Ch 4, sk 1 square of fabric, dc around next square, ch 1-sk 1 square of fabric-dc around next square, repeat from across. Ch 5, turn. Row 2: Sk next dc, sc in next dc, ch 5-sk next dc-sc in next dc, repeat from across ending with sc in 3rd ch of previous row's starting ch 4. Ch 1, turn. Row 3: Sl st in ch 5 sp, ch 3, P (= ch 3, sl st in 3rd ch from hook), dc, (P, dc) 4 times in ch 5 sp, (dc-P) 4 times, dc in next ch 5 sp, repeat from across. End off. C. Tie ribbon into a bow & sew in place. Trim to desired length.
